Jan Garavaglia, also known as "Dr. G," is a renowned forensic pathologist and author. She is best known for her appearances on the television show "Dr. G: Medical Examiner," which aired on the Discovery Health Channel from 2004 to 2008.
Dr. Garavaglia received her medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. She went on to specialize in forensic pathology and served as the Chief Medical Examiner for the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office in Florida for over 20 years.
